Sera Caldwell
Core Rehab Specialist | Personal Trainer
PROFRESSIONAL BACKGROUND & CREDENTIALS
I started my career in graphic design before discovering my true passion for fitness. I’m now an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with specialized certifications in Pregnancy & Postpartum Core Rehabilitation, Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism, and Girls Gone Strong. These credentials allow me to support women at every stage of life, from pregnancy to menopause and beyond.
EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE
With a diverse background in one-on-one training, group fitness, and virtual coaching, I focus on helping women build strength, confidence, and mobility in ways that feel sustainable and empowering. I’ve also worked with Assisted Stretching to improve mobility and collaborate with Pelvic Floor Physical Therapists to ensure that my clients receive well-rounded, evidence-based care. My mission is to help women feel strong and capable in their bodies—whether they’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, or menopause.
PHILOSOPHY AND APPROACH
I believe that strength is about more than just physical appearance—it’s about how we feel, move, and show up in our lives. My approach to fitness is centered around education, empowerment, and sustainability, helping women build strength and confidence through all stages of life. Whether you're navigating pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, or beyond, my goal is to provide the tools and support you need to feel capable, resilient, and in control of your body. I emphasize functional movement, mobility, and core health, ensuring that my clients gain strength and the freedom to move without pain or limitations. Every woman’s journey is unique, and I’m here to meet you where you are—without judgment, pressure, or anything but a commitment to your long-term well-being.
PERSONAL STORY & MOTIVATION
My passion for women’s fitness is driven by my own personal journey. During pregnancy and postpartum, I felt unprepared for the changes my body went through and saw the same struggle in other women. Later, I witnessed a lack of support for women navigating perimenopause and menopause, and I knew there had to be a better way. That’s what fuels me today—helping women build confidence in their bodies, understand how to move, train, and stay strong. My goal isn’t just to help women get stronger, but to help them feel empowered, resilient, and in control of their health, no matter where they are in their life journey.
CERTIFICATION & CONTINUING EDUCATION
I’m deeply committed to lifelong learning and always seek new ways to grow as a health and fitness professional. My focus is on evidence-based methods of strength and mobility training for women, particularly in pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause. I’m dedicated to helping women break free from the cycle of diet culture and embrace sustainable, healthy habits that can last a lifetime. By staying up-to-date on the latest research, I can offer my clients the most effective tools and strategies to help them thrive in their fitness journeys.
VISION & MISSION
My mission is to empower women at every stage of life to build strength, confidence, and resilience through fitness. I’m passionate about supporting women on their journeys, whether they’re navigating the changes of pregnancy, postpartum, or menopause. My vision is to create a space where women are equipped to take care of their bodies, embrace movement, and conquer challenges. I believe fitness should be accessible, sustainable, and adaptable to meet the unique needs of every woman, empowering them to thrive throughout their lives.
FUN FACTS & PERSONAL INTERESTS
I’m always on the sidelines cheering for my kids as they compete in sports—it’s one of my favorite ways to stay connected to their lives. Outside of fitness, I’m a proud plant mom and love filling my home with greenery (though I sometimes test their survival skills!). I also swim on a swim team with friends, which keeps me active in a fun, social way. Whether through coaching, training, or simply enjoying movement, I’m always seeking new ways to stay active and engaged in life.

As an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutrition Coach, I combine my knowledge of human behavior with evidence-based fitness and nutrition strategies to create sustainable, personalized plans for my clients.
EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
With ten years in health and fitness, I’ve worked with a diverse range of clients, including men, women, children, athletes, and individuals with special needs. I started as a personal trainer and expanded into group fitness and nutrition coaching. I love motivating a room full of women but find deep fulfillment in one-on-one coaching. My specialties include weight loss, muscle development, functional training, and nutrition. I’m particularly passionate about helping women regain strength after injury or illness and supporting clients who face unique challenges, providing the guidance and tools they need to achieve sustainable results.
PHILOSOPHY & APPROACH
I believe our bodies are blessings, and we have an obligation to steward them well. I want to help women transform short-term fitness goals into life-changing results by focusing on sustainable habits that promote strength, confidence, and longevity. I take a "deep health" approach to coaching, emphasizing not just physical fitness but also mental, emotional, and overall well-being. Every woman’s journey is unique, and I meet my clients where they are at. My approach is rooted in education, empowerment, and a deep passion for helping others build healthier lifestyles.
PERSONAL STORY & MOTIVATION
After having three kids, I returned to fitness through endurance running—even completing a few marathons! However, I quickly learned how important strength training is after experiencing a few preventable injuries. I began coaching fellow runners in the gym and fell in love with helping others embrace strength training. As I navigated the onset of middle age and was diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis, I realized the importance of adapting fitness to changing needs. This experience has deepened my commitment to helping others stay strong, move without pain, and prioritize long-term health.
CERTIFICATION & CONTINUING EDUCATION
I’m committed to lifelong learning as a health and fitness professional. My focus is on research-based methods of strength and mobility training, fitness for special populations, and breaking women’s mindsets from negative diet culture. I’m particularly interested in how sleep, stress, and recovery impact our fitness journeys and stay up-to-date on new research to provide the best coaching for my clients.
VISION & MISSION
My mission is to empower women through strength, education, and movement so they can feel confident in their bodies at every stage of life. My vision is to create a stronger, more informed community of women who feel capable, resilient, and in control of their health. I want to help women break free from the overwhelming and often misleading fitness industry narratives and instead focus on evidence-based, practical strategies that build lasting strength and confidence. Every woman deserves to move well, feel strong, and thrive—no matter what season of life she’s in.
